The term veteran is a person who has served in active military, naval, or air service and who was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable. A veteran with 0 to 100% disability rating is eligible to self-represent as a service disabled veteran.
To qualify for the SDVOSB program, your business must:
- Be a small business (LESS THAN 100 EMPLOYEES)
- Be at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans
- Have one or more service-disabled veterans manage day-to-day operations who also make long-term decisions
- Eligible veterans must have a service-connected disability
